Board members:
Telford Economic Development Partnership

Telford Economic Development Partnership (TEDP) has been set up as the independent ‘voice of business’ to steer the delivery of Telford and Wrekin’s Economic Development Strategy and is chaired by Ian Dosser, Chief Financial Officer, Capgemini UK plc.

Telford has an exciting future and is set to grow. Over the next 25 years it is estimated that the population will increase by some 25% to over 200,000 people. This growth must be economically driven if we are to guarantee our economic wellbeing. Some 30,000 new jobs must therefore be created over this period, taking the workforce to 110,000 people.

The opportunity exists for talented and motivated individuals and senior representatives from Telford and Wrekin’s business community to join the 22 - strong board of TEDP and make a real difference in shaping the development of its economy. Candidates will need to demonstrate that they have the knowledge and commitment to Telford and Wrekin.

This is a non-executive requirement and is not remunerated. TEDP meets quarterly and the secretariat is provided by Transforming Telford
