The Iron Bridge 2
Built in 1779 by Abraham Darby this cast iron bridge was the first of its kind and is now recognised as one of Englands icons. In 1986, the Ironbridge Gorge was designated a World Heritage Site recognising the area's unique contribution to the birth of the Industrial Revolution.
