TBP Membership Boosts Through Diversity

Recognised as the voice of the professional business services sector Telford Business Partnership (TBP) has boosted its membership with three very different companies joining in the last month.

Printing company Visionprint who are based on Halesfield Industrial Park, BBLB Architects in Bridgnorth and new business 7Video established just this year based at the e- innovation centre Priorslee.

Sales Manager Simon Wood from Visionprint said, ” Demographically Telford has suited our growth and expansion plans for the future and by being part of TBP’s diverse membership Visionprint has been introduced to many business sectors who we wouldn’t usually meet. The networking of TBP gives us an opportunity to mix with like local businesses with whom we can tackle important issues and exchange knowledge and ideas.”

Telford Business Partnership established in 2005, formed to enhance the success of the local business and professional services sector and to provide a meeting point for members with an interest in the economic development of the area.

Now after just 3 year’s TBP membership has grown to 125 members. Members have the opportunity to network at breakfast meetings and workshops where the highest calibre of speakers present up to the minute issues effecting local businesses of any size or sector.

Business Development Manager of BBLB Architects, Debbie Ward said, “We have only been a member of TBP for a short time, but are already working on a large masterplan project on Junction 4 due to the contacts we have built at meetings. TBP are the first to know of any exciting developments within the Borough and always readily pass new information on.”

Having just established their business in Telford, 7Video feel that TBP membership has been invaluable for building business relationships, Director Martyn Harris said, “ Building a database of diverse clients is so important for our business. TBP has been invaluable in starting our business and introducing 7Video to members who need our services.”

TBP is funded by AWM and supported by Transforming Telford - The Economic Development Company. If you would like more information regarding TBP, AWM or Transforming Telford please call Nicki Openshaw TBP Development Manager on 01952 567567 or email nicki.openshaw@transformingtelford.co.uk
